About
& disclosure

One page, no fine print: who writes this site, how the facts are checked, and where the money comes from.

Who makes this

thingstododanang.com is part of the Uncompromised Travel network of city decision guides. It is written and maintained as a decision engine, not a blog: every page answers one question a traveler is actually asking — worth it or skip it, which tour, which beach, which month — and shows its working. Start from things to do, ranked or the planning hub.

How facts are checked

Prices are quoted in both currencies (VND and USD) with the month they were last verified; anything we could not verify says so on the page instead of guessing. Review scores are quoted from the platform that published them, with attribution — this site never invents ratings, review counts or "9 out of 10 travelers" statistics. When something is not worth your time, the page says skip it and names the better move.

How the site makes money

Some outbound booking links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the platform pays this site a commission and your price does not change. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code. The programs in use: GetYourGuide, Klook, Booking.com, TourRadar (multi-day tours), Airalo (eSIMs), Kiwi.com (flights), GetTransfer (airport transfers), Radical Storage (luggage) and WeGoTrip (self-guided audio tours). No operator pays for placement or a verdict.

The site runs basic analytics (Google Analytics 4) to see which pages actually help and which links get used. No ads, no sponsored posts, no selling of reader data.
